SOUL TYDE...an  clectic mix of hip-hop, jazz,  lues, rock, and the common root SOUL. Soul Tyde has blessed St. Louis with energy and passion. Established in 1998, CEO founders Wesley "Seldom Seen" Smith and Mustafa "Da Scientist" Ahmad have created a network of producers and artists who have formed the "Soulful...ish" sound of the decade. Ranging from hip-hop to R&B to alternative soul, this group of artists spreads their feverish sound as a positive contribution to music.

Hailing from the Midwest, the humble beginnings of each Soul Tyde member has connected them through a common ground... soul. Starting out with virtually no resources available, Soul Tyde now has more than eight producers and over fifteen artists.

Without Soul Tyde's NuBirth producers (Stoney Rock, Reality, Avail, B-Side, E-Flat, Kenautis Smith, Scratch n Sniff, and Big Wen) and writers (Solomon Nickels, Avail, and Stoney Rock) the music world would miss out on its most valuable asset. From The Galaxy to Vintage Vinyl to Blueberry Hill to the Pageant are some of the many places in which Soul Tyde has graced audiences with what they call "underground hip-hop" soul.  So world  let's get ready to embrace the world's next superstars.
